Dickinson

Dickinson lies along the I-45 corridor between Houston and Galveston.  While there is a lot of new development in the area, there is also the established areas of Dickinson in and around Dickinson Bayou.  This area is also accessible from both HWY 3 and HWY 146.  Further past HWY 146 are the areas of Bacliff and San Leon along Balveston Bay which are also part of Dickinson ISD.
